Amit, I'm going to guess that the kernel _headers_ you compiled against
are your original, redhat-provided, 2.4.7-10 headers. (Which worked fine
when you used their 2.4.7-10 kernel.)

Modify your Makefile (as per the FAQ) to use
-I/path/to/downloaded/2.4.18/kernel/includes/, recompile your module,
and try again. :)
