In user program you can't use "pci_find_device" . PCI methods can be called from the kernel only . PCI devices have a PCI configuration space . PCI configuration space stores all the details of the device for accessing the device u must map the registers to the memory so that u can read or write into the registers . For more hardware details (registers ) u must have the device datasheet from the vendor .
