hi,

we faced some problem with registering a file in procfs and that time our problem was we were porting from 2.0 to 2.2 and the proc_dir_entry structure has changed in these versions. i feel that once cross check the structure initialisation with already present entries present in/usr/src/linux/fs/proc/base.c. there are some entries in the structure to be added i feel. only a guess.

hope it helps

regards

sudhir
