initrd problem

Hi,
i am trying to get initrd load a ext2 filesystem from
the hard disk and boot with the ramdisk as the real
filesystem.

For testing i added a new entry in lilo.conf with the
appropriate initrd, and append sections.

The kernel messages as initrd being loaded and that
super.c is able to mount the root filesystem.

however after that main.c is not able to execve init
and the kernel panics here.

Any idea how i can debug this...

Cheers,
Mohan S

PS: i have busybox in the initrd image along with /dev
directory and ram0, console and tty entries...
