Problem booting linux 2.5.10/2.5.15 on intel 845

Hi,

I compiled the 2.5.15 kernel on a IBM machine which
has a Intel 845 chipset.

The kernel wouldnt boot. It proceeds upto starting
kswapd, the last few messages that are displayed are

biovect: init pool 0
256 slots per cpu block=32

and just hangs at this point

Anyhow I am able to bring up linux 2.4.2/2.4.18 on the
same Inte 845 chipset machine. Also the 2.5.15 kernel
works on my Intel 810 chipset machines.

My work is based on the EHCI code and that is only
available in the later 2.5 development kernels.

Thanks for any help in this regard.
