kernel --> userspace via sockets

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi guys,

Does anybody have examples of sending data to usermode applications from a
kernel module via tcp/ip? Something like kernel sockets, i'm just
beggining my study on the Linux kernel in particular and don't know if
such thing exists. I have a daemon listening on a tcp port and is waiting
for a kernel module to send some data to this port. Is there any way to do
it in kernel space? Additional examples using unix domain sockets would be
greatly appreciated.
