Hi, I was looking through the schedulerin 2.4.10 and when a process issues a sleep, the process is added to a wait_queue. My question is does the process also get removed from the run_queue or does the scheduler simply disregard it beacause its state is not TASK_RUNNING? thanks, tim _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com -- Kernelnewbies: Help each other learn about the Linux kernel.
