Hi all, Could somebody explain the concept of data
alignment in Linux. I
was going through the source code of via-rhine.c (a network device drover source code) and a lot of the source code is to handle the problem of data alignment. I went through the explanation given in LDD but could not fathom as to what would happen if data alignment is not done. Thanks in advance. Vinay
