hi, i am porting a device driver [actually not a physical one, its basically a virtual tunnel driver following ipip.c] to 2.4 the 2.2 code was not written by me but i have understood most of the workings of the networking stack in the kernel [hopefully] and have ported the whole lot of code. however the proc_fs changes are pretty major [?] from 2.2 to 2.4 or am i mistaken ? if so , can someone describe the changes/ show url for some documentation. probably the better way is to actually look at similar drivers in the source. however i thought it would be faster with some documentation.... regards, Vikram -- Kernelnewbies: Help each other learn about the Linux kernel.
