Block-sharing filesystem

...an idea just occured to me - can there be a filesystem, where identical
blocks are shared between files... E.g., new files are created anew, but
copying files internally only creates smth like a hard-link, and then some
sort of COW is done only on modified blocks... Eh? Does anything like that
already exist?
