Too late, it doesn't help you anymore. The spam harvesters already have
your email address, so removing it doesn't help. By sending messages to
mailing lists you automatically got your message (including email
addresses) into the archives.

If you don't want to receive spam, just don't use the 'net. Otherwise
use an ISP with a good spam policy and/or use spamfilter
(http://spamfilter.nl.linux.org/ ).
