Timer Granularity

Hello All,
I know the timer granularity for Linux is 10ms. Would anyone happen
to know if this will change soon?
I know this one doesn't exist here, but I don't want to go joining
BSD lists all over just for 1 question. So, does anyone know what the
granularity for BSD is?

Chuck
