Hi guys, I did a virtual network device module, the purpose is for adding new ip address for another protocol I have ported from BSD. I hooked this virtual device to a real network device. However, when I config the address using ifconfig, the kernel goes into panic. Does anyone knows what went wrong?? Is it because a device cannot have 2 different ip addresses? TIA!
