If you are referring to the book by Bovet & Cesati, "Understanding
the Linux Kernel" (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/linuxkernel/), I
understand there are no official online versions of this book. For
good online --and legal-- references I suggest looking to the pointers
listed in Juan-Mariano de Goyeneche's recopilation:

http://www.dit.upm.es/~jmseyas/linux/kernel/hackers-docs.html

    Cheers!
