kernel code and data

Hi,

After compiling the kernel code, I would like to have the instructions running cached
and the data uncached. How do I do that?
I just know that a LoadAddress can be specified in the arch/xxx/Makefile,which specifies
where the kernel should get loaded. This could be in cached or an uncached address space.

Any help appreciated.
Manoj
