Hi there, I am trying to make address change on a device from kernel module. I saw that there us devinet_ioctl function and I am trying to use it but there is a copy_from_user(..) call which is no appropriate for me because it is in kernel space. Next i saw inet_set_ifa which is exactly what i need but than this is not exported in system map and i cannot invoke it from module. In devinet.c are many usefull functions ( inet_set_ifa inet_free_ifa .... )but they cannot by directly called - Why ? Thnak You
