Hi all
I have compiled the kernel 2.4.6 (including make modules_install).
But when i boot from the new image the network card has a mac address
of all F.
The module it uses is 8139too.
I tried compiling the 8139too provided in the source tree of 2.4.6 but
still no use.
but when i took 8139too.c from the src tree of 2.4.2 and compiled it for
2.4.6 its working fine.
Has anyone faced this problem regarding the 8139too module,is reading
eeprom in the new kernel driver a bug ? or am i missing something ?
