Patrick McHardy have been working on better IPSEC and netfilter
integration for a while. It's not a simple issue at all, the problems were
brought up on the netfilter developer workshop. There are still a few
remaining problems to be solved for a complete solution.

(But very few active developers follow the netfilter mailing list and even
then they do that only occasionally. Developer questions should be posted
on netfilter-devel.)
