I am using a very old patch-o-matic (April) and would like to use the latest December release. How does one upgrade an existing patch-o-matic installation? Does one: 1) start with a fresh kernel 2) uninstall all the old patches and reinstall but with the new patch-o-matic 3) install the same patches over the old ones 4) copy in the new patch-o-matic files, wave one's hands and say "prest-o, change-o, patch-o upgrade be done!"
