I've had IPTables running on RedHat for some time and would like to upgrade it. The kernel version is 2.4.18-3. I'm fairly new to Linux, and I don't know where the kernel was built. Hence, I don't know how to launch the initial command: % make KERNEL_DIR=<<where-you-built-your-kernel>> I see the source under /usr/src/redhat/, and I've tried about every directory that has the word 'kernel' or the kernel version in it.
