I am getting the following message when trying to use iptable (iptable -L)
"iptables v1.2.6a: can't initialize iptables table `filter': iptables who? (do yo
u need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded."

It seems that I can't access any of the tables (filter, nat, or mangle). Does the kernel need to be modified? How do I go about this? I am running Debain 3.0r1 on an UtraII.

Thanks,
