Hello All, I found "Linux Firewalls Second Edition" by Robert L. Ziegler to be pretty good. It was published by New Riders. Thanks, Preston -----Original Message----- From: Santi [mailto:nagajuna@optushome.com.au] Sent: Wednesday, January 29, 2003 7:37 PM To: netfilter@lists.netfilter.org Subject: RE: Good book Yes I agree Justin. I learnt much about networking through "Linux Routers" and Radia Perlman's "Interconnections." The latter doesn't describe firewall explicitly but it does provide good understanding of networks. I use all these books as a "toolbox" combination. Santi. Justin Wrote: I found 'Linux Routers' by Tony Mancill to be useful, as covering linux as a router also requires a lot of information on netfilter/linux in different kinds of network topology, plus traffic shaping, as well as all the usual stuff on firewalls and so on. Its about 400 pages and the 2nd edition is on 2.4 http://mancill.com/linuxrouters/
