Now this patch also handles synproxy extension, so I'd suggest the
title and description are adapted to match to what the patch does, I
suggest this:

        netfilter: synproxy: Check oom when adding synproxy and seqadj ct extensions

        When memory is exhausted, nfct_seqadj_ext_add may fail to add the
        synproxy and seqadj extensions. The function nf_ct_seqadj_init doesn't
        check if get valid seqadj pointer by the nfct_seqadj.

        Now drop the packet directly when fail to add seqadj extension to
        avoid dereference NULL pointer in nf_ct_seqadj_init from
        init_conntrack().

Not your fault, we have more pr_debug() in nf_conntrack. I don't think
this is very useful, actually I don't remember when was last time I
enabled these pr_debug() in nf_conntrack.

This pr_debug() is a bit like crack, once you get hooked into this,
you have to think a bit if you can get rid of it.

So while we're deciding if we want to get rid of it or not, better not
introduce more pr_debug() into this code.

Regarding this, I think Florian is right.

        return nf_ct_ext_add(ct, NF_CT_EXT_SEQADJ, GFP_ATOMIC);
}

Since this just leaves this NULL.

I got confused by nf_ct_nat_ext_add() which although looks the same,
it has different semantics.

So this NF_DROP you initially introduced is fine.
