I ran into this as well, 
try this for the mtu check.

       if ((!skb->local_df && skb->len > mtu && !skb_is_gso(skb)) ||
           (IP6CB(skb)->frag_max_size && IP6CB(skb)->frag_max_size > mtu)) {
