Kernel Crash - 300+ Rule Creation

I m trying to create 300+ rules using a script without delay .

I m NOT passing any traffic through the device , just rule creation .

I m using  SMP 2.6.34 kernel , Xeon 5570 Quad core processor + 12 GB

do let me know if any more information is need.

Any help is appreciated.
