netns is given personal conntrack hash. Another way is to have one hash and give tuplehashes ->ct_net pointer. I tried that at some point, it's more ugly and more non-obvious. Functions that search by tuple (numerical data) get netns argument to know where to search as well as conntrack flush functions gets netns argument propagated. Everybody is stubbed to init_net, except trivial places. Non-trivial places: a) __nf_conntrack_hash_insert() code there may look self-referential, but conntrack was just created, so ->ct_net points to correct place. b) __nf_conntrack_confirm() If I'm reading this correctly, conntrack once glued to skb doesn't get rewritten, as such it was either already found in correct netns conntrack hash, or created in correct netns (and skb don't cross netns boundaries).
