NASA Selects Eastern Region Protective Services Contractor

NASA has selected Chenega Global Protection, LLC. of Chantilly, Virginia, to receive the NASA Protective Services – Eastern Region contract. The contract provides protective services for NASA Headquarters in Washington; NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland; Glenn Research Center in Cleveland and Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. 

The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract includes firm-fixed-price task orders with a maximum value of $198 million. The five-year contract begins March 1, 2023, with the option to extend services up to six months.

The contractor will provide protective services including, but not limited to; information and communications security, security operations, information security, program security, resource protection, physical security, credentialing, 911 Phone Center and Protective Services Communications Center, emergency management, and NASA Protective Services Training.

The Office of Protective Services is NASA’s focal point for policy formulation, oversight, coordination, and management of the agency’s physical security, intelligence, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, emergency management, continuity of operations, national security, information and communications security, classified information security, identity and credential management, electronic physical access management, insider threat, and protective services training programs.
