NASA to Air Administrator’s Message Marking Agency 60th Anniversary
 

NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine delivers remarks during the 2018 Agency Honor Awards ceremony, Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018 at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. NASA will air a recorded message from Administrator Jim Bridenstine at 1 p.m. EDT Monday, Oct. 1 to commemorate the agency’s founding 60 years ago. The message will be broadcast live on NASA Television and the agency’s website.

For six decades, NASA has led the peaceful exploration of space, making discoveries about our planet, our solar system and our universe. NASA research has made great advances in aviation, helped to develop a commercial space industry, enrich the U.S. economy, create jobs, and strengthen national security.
