NASA Administrator to Visit Langley Research Center Nov. 1

NASA Administrator Charles Bolden will visit Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va., on Friday, Nov. 1, to meet with employees and tour the facility.

Media are invited to meet with Bolden from 10 to 10:30 a.m. EDT in Langley’s aircraft hangar for a briefing on two airborne missions. One of the missions will measure ocean winds for a proposed wind farm off the shores of Virginia Beach, while a second mission will test biofuel alternatives for aircraft.

Media interested in attending should contact Michael Finneran in Langley’s Office of Communications at 757-864-6110 no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.
