The event, which includes a video link with Coleman, will air live on NASA Television at 11:41 a.m. EDT. Sixth-grade students from Elmer J. McMahon School, Dr. Marcella R. Kelly School and STEM Middle Academy will participate and learn about the important role the station plays in scientific discovery and space exploration. The downlink will be hosted at Springfield Technical Community College, located at One Armory Square, Springfield, Mass. The morning of the event, students will take part in activities focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) led by graduate students from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
