The Summer of Innovation's goal is to provide experiences that will have a positive impact on students' academic performance, choice of STEM coursework, degree programs and eventual career path. The project is focused on broadening participation in STEM disciplines by underrepresented, underperforming and underserved students. Through NASA's new announcement of opportunity, the agency seeks unfunded partnerships with organizations to help achieve its Summer of Innovation goals, reach wider audiences and build national interest in STEM education. Potential partnership activities are varied. Responses are due by Sept. 3.
