The contract began on June 1, 2010, with a one-year base period, followed by four one-year options that may be exercised at NASA's discretion. It is a firm, fixed price contract with an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) portion. The potential value of this contract, if all options are exercised and a maximum IDIQ value ordered, is approximately $47.5 million. The contract has a minimum IDIQ order quantity value of $25,000 annually and a maximum order quantity value of $9.5 million per year. Under the contract, CH2M Hill will conduct studies, and develop plans and reports in support of environmental compliance and occupational health activities at Marshall.
