NASA'S GILBRECH TO HOLD MEDIA BRIEFING AT NATIONAL SPACE SYMPOSIUM

WASHINGTON - Top NASA executives are speaking at the Space 
Foundation's National Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colo., 
April 7-10. 

Rick Gilbrech, NASA's associate administrator for the Exploration 
Systems Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington, will 
host a media roundtable following a panel presentation. The media 
opportunity is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, from 1:15 p.m. to 2 
p.m. MDT in the media center at the Broadmoor Hotel and Convention 
Center. Doug Cooke, deputy associate administrator for Exploration 
Systems, also will participate. 

Gilbrech's presentation is part of the panel "Mind the Gap: Shuttle 
Retirement and Other Challenges on the Road to the Moon and Mars" on 
Tuesday, April 8, at 10:45 a.m. Fellow panelists are NASA's Associate 
Administrator Chris Scolese, Director of NASA's Kennedy Space Center 
William W. Parsons, Jr., and former NASA astronaut Eileen M. Collins. 


To attend the briefing, reporters must register with the Space 
Foundation for credentials to the symposium. Registration is free and 
is available online at:
