NASA TV AIRS ARRIVAL OF NEXT SPACE STATION CARGO SHIP

The residents of the International Space Station will receive a new
shipment of food, fuel and supplies Thursday, Oct. 26, and NASA TV
will broadcast its arrival live.

After launching from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan on Monday,
Oct. 23, the ISS Progress 23 spacecraft will dock to the station at
10:28 a.m. EDT Oct. 26. NASA TV will not cover the launch of the
cargo ship, but live coverage of the docking begins at 10 a.m. EDT.

The Progress will bring more than two tons of supplies to the crew.
Aboard the station are Expedition 14 Commander Mike Lopez-Alegria and
Flight Engineers Mikhail Tyurin and Thomas Reiter. Lopez-Alegria and
Tyurin are in the second month of a one half-year stay in space.
Reiter has been aboard the station since July. He is scheduled to
return to Earth aboard Space Shuttle Discovery in December.
