NASA ADMINISTRATOR PRESENTS SPACE SHUTTLE PROGRAM UPDATE

NASA Administrator Michael Griffin and Associate Administrator for 
Space Operations William Gerstenmaier will brief the media about the 
space shuttle program and processing for the next mission (STS-121) 
Friday, April 28, at 11 a.m. EDT. The briefing will be in the NASA 
headquarters auditorium, 300 E. St. S.W., Washington.

Space Shuttle Program Manager Wayne Hale will join them electronically 
from NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Ala. NASA TV 
will air the briefing live. Journalists at NASA headquarters and 
participating agency locations may ask questions.

NASA TV's Public, Education and Media channels are available on an 
MPEG-2 digital C-band signal accessed via satellite AMC-6, at 72 
degrees west longitude, transponder 17C, 4040 MHz, vertical 
polarization. In Alaska and Hawaii, they're on AMC-7 at 137 degrees 
west longitude, transponder 18C, at 4060 MHz, horizontal
