Meet the Artemis II Crew
NASA and the Canadian Space Agency announced the four astronauts who will venture around the Moon on Artemis II, the first crewed mission on NASA’s path to establishing a long-term presence at the Moon for science and exploration through Artemis. The approximately 10-day Artemis II flight test will launch on the agency’s powerful Space Launch System rocket, prove the Orion spacecraft’s life-support systems, and validate the capabilities and techniques needed for humans to live and work in deep space.

Hubble Unexpectedly Finds Double Quasar in Distant Universe
The early universe was a rambunctious place where galaxies often bumped into each other and even merged together. Using NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and other space and ground-based observatories, astronomers investigating these developments have made an unexpected and rare discovery: a pair of gravitationally bound quasars, both blazing away inside two merging galaxies.

The Road to October 2023: NASA’s Psyche Has an Updated Mission Plan
NASA’s Psyche mission, which will explore a metal-rich asteroid of the same name, is on track to launch in October 2023 after a one-year delay to complete critical testing. The asteroid, which lies in the outer portion of the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, may be the remains of a core of a planetesimal, a building block of a rocky planet.

Crew Health Checks, Space Physics Among Station Research Schedule
Human research activities dominated the Expedition 69 crew’s schedule aboard the International Space Station on April 4, with ultrasound scans, vision checks, and hearing exams. Space physics also rounded out the science schedule while the orbital residents continued ongoing cargo and maintenance operations.

NASA, Webb Telescope Industry Team Awarded Collier Trophy
NASA and the James Webb Space Telescope industry team, led by Northrop Grumman Corporation, have won the prestigious National Aeronautic Association Robert J. Collier Trophy for revolutionizing the field of astrophysics with the team’s pioneering design and exceptional performance of the telescope. The Collier Trophy is awarded annually for “the greatest achievement in aerospace and astronautics in America.”
