	August 30, 2019  In Case You Missed It: A Weekly Summary of Top Content from NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center Week of Aug. 26-30, 2019   The Latest Look at 'First Light' from Chandra NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory has captured many spectacular images of cosmic phenomena over its two decades of operations, but perhaps its most iconic is the supernova remnant Cassiopeia A. Located about 11,000 light-years from Earth, Cas A -- as it’s nicknamed -- is the glowing debris field left behind after a massive star exploded. The Chandra program is managed by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.   NASA Issues New Guidelines for 2019-2020 Human Exploration Rover Challenge NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge -- the space agency’s annual human-piloted rover design competition for high school, college and university teams -- has issued its updated guidebook for the 2019-20 challenge. Marshall manages Rover Challenge.   Scientific Samples Make the Journey Back to Earth Aboard SpaceX’s Dragon On Aug. 27, a Dragon cargo spacecraft returned samples, hardware and data from completed scientific experiments aboard the International Space Station. Marshall manages science operations for the station.   NASA Names 'Rolling Stones Rock' on Mars For decades, the music of The Rolling Stones has had a global reach here on Earth. Now, the band's influence extends all the way to Mars. The team behind NASA's InSight lander has named a Martian rock after the band: “Rolling Stones Rock.” InSight is part of NASA's Discovery Program, managed by Marshall.   NASA Activates Deep Space Atomic Clock NASA’s Deep Space Atomic Clock, which could pave the way for autonomous deep space travel, was successfully activated last week and is ready to begin its year-long tech demo. The clock is part of NASA’s Technology Demonstration Missions, a program managed at Marshall.
