NASA Awards Multi-Center Protective Services Contract

NASA has awarded a contract to Security Walls, LLC of Knoxville, Tennessee, to perform a wide range of protective services at the agency’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans.

The performance-based, firm-fixed-price (FFP) mission services contract includes an FFP indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity portion. Work under this contract will begin May 1 and includes a one-year base period, followed by four one-year options. The total potential value of the contract, including all options, is approximately $45.3 million.

Services under the Marshall Center and Michoud Facility Protective Services (MMPS) contract include physical and personnel security, technology protection, emergency management, training requirements and range operations.
