DVD playback error (latest SVN)

   Hi,

I'm getting the following error when trying to play *any* DVD with the latest
MPlayer svn checkout:

---

This happens with either mplayer dvdnav://1 or dvd://1 or dvd://1-14. I've
now tried reverting libdvdcss to r31154, which works fine. Then tried
r31157, and I get the same error.

I first suspected my drive, as it showed a number of I/O errors when this
occurs. However, the . Swapping back and forth between the two versions
confirmed the problem is in MPlayer. I'm running a very mongrelized
Slackware 10.2, gcc 3.3.6, if that helps. And I hope this makes sense, I
first wrote this earlier, before trying to narrow it down further. :) TIA
for your time.

   Take care,
   Steve
