Cannot play mkv file, error "MPlayer interrupted by signal 11 in module: decode video"

Sorry for the spam. I didn't realize that Carl has answered my
question already. As the default demuxer failed to work, it's
necessary to specify -fps in the command line. This will overwrite the
wrong fps (15) mplayer got from the media file, and make sure video
and audio are in sync. Anyway, if there is any change can be made in
mplayer to make it smarter as other players do, that will be really
appreciated!
