Is there a reason why edl support only works with viceo files in mplayer and not with audio only files? I have hacked together a quick workaround demo (linux at least) as described here: http://zotzbro.blogspot.com/2010/05/edl-edit-decision-list-audio-player.html It would be much cleaner if this was possible in mplayer itself though.
