Is there a benchmark suite for mplayer performence test?

Dear all,
     I want to a fresh man to  mplayer, and want to find a benchmark suite
for mplayer's video and audio play performence, just the mencoder supported
video and audio format. Although a short video or audio is ok for
performance test. But, Is there some test suite which is common used for
mplayer performance test?
