Hi, mplayer svn does not play "The Day of the Jackal, 1973", PAL EU; upon opening, mplayer does nothing. Workaround on Slackware 13.0 64 bit: 1) get libdvdcss from svn ./configure --libdir=/usr/lib64 --with-pic 2) get libdvdread-0.9.7 plus UDF patch i) patch: http://tobias.rautenkranz.ch/code/libdvdread_udf.patch ii) patched libdvdread: ./configure --libdir=/usr/lib64 --with-pic --with-libdvdcss-includes=/usr/local/include/ --with-libdvdcss-libs=/usr/lib64/ 3) configure mplayer: ./configure --libdir=/usr/lib64 --enable-xvmc --disable-dvdread-internal --disable-libdvdcss-internal Then, invoking mplayer brings on this: "libdvdread patched to play DVDs with DVD-Movie-Protect" and the dvd plays nicely. Can/should a patched libdvdread be included in mplayer svn? Regards
