_____ Sorry about that... yeah the video works at first but if you try to slide it from the start to the middle even after completing its buffer, it eventually stops. On this mailing list, only latest MPlayer svn is supported. If you want to report problems with another version, do it where you found that version (debian bug-tracker). If you report a problem, always include complete, uncut output of MPlayer. If you observe a crash, there should be output what exactly you are expected to do (the output is different for the Debian version). If you want to upload sample media, do not use fuckshare, but in case of MPlayer, please read http://ffmpeg.org/bugreports.html - I expect debian also provides a file sink.
