embedded flv video stops/ crashes after skipping through frames

Sorry about that... yeah the video works at first but if you try to slide it from the start to the middle even after completing its buffer, it eventually stops. 

So do you guys think this is a debian or mplayer bug?

  report problems with another version, do it where you found that version (debian
  bug-tracker).
