It looked just a bit odd that while there were no visible changes to any windows on the desktop, the position of MPlayer's window for the same video was chosen differently, if a different -vo was provided on the command line. Quite the contrary, this improves the integration of MPlayer in a desktop environment a lot. Since this behavior can be easily overridden by the -geometry option for all special cases, this is a non-issue. -- Regards Ilja
