Is there an option or a way to increase the precision of elapsed time that is written to standard output, when playing a video file using mplayer? By default, its accurate to a tenth of a second. I need the higher accuracy to use it in conjunction with mkvmerge utility to split my mkv files. mkvmerge only accepts timestamps and not frame numbers. regards, mikeY
