mplayer plays video slowly - help needed

Sorry. Missed the codecs.conf file.
I added the codec.conf file. Now? video is playing, but still it is slow.

Thanks for your input.

I have compiled the mplayer by disabling vfp support. Now the issue is that no video is playing on my LCD screen.

I am just seeing the following messages on the serial console.

# mplayer ./queen.mp4

Your assembler is outdated, it only supports the legacy instruction
coding:

You can disable vfp support as a workaround, though that results in
slower code.
