Is there some way to get mplayer to play tv:// from my analog TV card just as smooth as tvtime does with it's "Motion adaptive: Motion search" deinterlacer? Everything I try with mplayer results in video that looks like it's running at half the frame rate (and thus very choppy) than tvtime or a real TV. It looks like mplayer does 25FPS while tvtime seems to do the full 50FPS of the PAL signal.
