Hi, Here you can find an extract with the .sub+.idx: http://yozora-irc.net/~ubitux/mplayer/ Just play it with -ss '00:04:50'; after the second subs ("Ace!", "Wake up. honey"), no other subs appear. But if you skip that passage it seems to work (try -ss '00:05:20'). This issue occurs a few time in the whole film (I just give a sample). Can you reproduce this issue? There is also some strange output: SUB: Could not determine file format Cannot load subtitles: ./cdh_vobsub_issue_at_00_04_50.sub (But I still get the sub in the video...) -- ubitux
