'Right, so the problem seems to be when compiling with gcc4.4. Using
--cc=gcc3.4, it solved the problem...


Same problem here. However, I solved it by simply compiling
libmpdemux/demux_mkv.c with '-O2' instead of '-O4'.
('-O3' did not help)
